American Express Expands Global Lounge Collection with Newark Centurion Lounge
Largest Centurion Lounge to Date
American Express and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have announced the addition of a new Centurion Lounge to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The 17,000-square-foot lounge will be the largest Centurion Lounge to date, offering American Express cardmembers a luxurious and convenient space to relax and recharge during their travels.
Exclusive Amenities and Services
The Newark Centurion Lounge will feature a variety of exclusive amenities and services, including:
- Complimentary food and beverages, including a full bar and chef-prepared dishes
- Comfortable seating areas with ample power outlets
- Private workspaces and conference rooms
- Family-friendly amenities such as a children's play area
- 24/7 access for eligible cardmembers
The lounge will also offer stunning views of the airport and the New York City skyline.
Elevating the Travel Experience

The Newark Centurion Lounge is scheduled to open in 2023 and will be located in Terminal C near Gate 78.
