Tony Awards Nominations Announced

77th Annual Ceremony to be Held on June 16

The American Theatre Wing has announced the nominations for the 77th Annual Tony Awards, honoring the best of Broadway theater during the 2023-24 season. The ceremony will be held on June 16, 2024, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and will be televised live on CBS.

There are 26 competitive categories this year, including Best Musical, Best Play, Best Actor in a Musical, Best Actress in a Musical, Best Actor in a Play, and Best Actress in a Play. The full list of nominees can be found on the Tony Awards website.

A preshow ceremony will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm, during which awards for design and other crafts will be presented. The main ceremony will begin at 8 pm.

Stars from stage, screen, and sports will be on hand to present the awards, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hugh Jackman, and Zendaya.

The Tony Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in theater, and the 77th Annual ceremony is sure to be a star-studded event.
